Cottage Garden
|
The
fence around the cottage garden started out as a way to keep the
neighborhood dogs out of my bean patch. It also serves as a remembrance
of the sand fence we grew so used to seeing when we lived at the beach.
We added the arch, lots of plants, and more garden spots to make it more
of a cottage garden. I like to combine vegetables, herbs, flowers
and sometimes "weeds" in all of the cottage garden areas. We may
even add a greenhouse to it later. This spring we found a bird's nest
while weeding around the butterfly bush. Unfortunately, the mama bird moved her
babies after we took the photo.New flowers and photos!
