Adventures in Songwriting

Rahn’s latest adventure has been performing original songs in public --  on guitar -- during open-mic events and singer/songwriter nights at Brown Mountain Bottleworks in Morganton, N.C.  In the past, Rahn always accompanied himself on piano.  This new interest in writing music in addition to works of fiction should keep things lively!

We have two authors in the family!

Turtle Beach is available on Amazon.com

Yes, Timberley now has an illustrated children’s book published through Amazon.com. The book was a large project that began years ago after we found a baby turtle at the beach. The rough version of the drawings and text were left unfinished until this past winter.  We are happy to start this new path, and who knows where it might lead? More books? Author’s appearances with school children? Time will tell.

Turtle Beach is an endearing story of a young sea turtle who tries to find his real family, only to discover that he has always been surrounded by the love and support of his family of friends.

Turtle Beach is available in a digital Kindle version and also in a print copy. (The Kindle version is free when you buy a print copy of the book.)
